This explains what information KDP Workspace collects, why, and how it's handled.

What we collect

If you use the free tool without an account, your data (books, checklists, settings) stays in your own browser and never reaches our servers.

If you sign up for KDP Workspace Pro, we collect:

• Your email address and a securely hashed password, to create and secure your account
• The book, library, and settings data you enter into the tool, so it can sync across your devices
• Basic subscription and billing status (whether your subscription is active), provided to us by Stripe

We don't collect or store your full payment card details. Those go directly to Stripe, our payment processor.

How we use it

We use this information to provide the service: keeping you signed in, syncing your data across devices, and confirming your subscription is active so you can use paid features. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

• Stripe, to process subscription payments
• Cloudflare, our hosting and infrastructure provider, which stores your account and synced book data

We don't share your data with anyone else, except where required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and synced data for as long as your account exists. If you'd like your account and data deleted, contact us at the address below.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with industry-standard practices. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Children's privacy

KDP Workspace isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
