These terms govern your use of KDP Workspace, including the free tool and the KDP Workspace Pro subscription. By using KDP Workspace, you agree to these terms.
What KDP Workspace is
KDP Workspace is a browser-based tool that helps independent authors and publishers manage the non-creative parts of self-publishing on Amazon KDP: checklists, category and keyword reference, sales and ad report review, and formatting tools like the interior image assembler and ebook converter. It does not write, illustrate, or otherwise generate the content of your books. You remain solely responsible for the content you create and publish.
Accounts
KDP Workspace Pro requires an account, tied to an email address and password. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Let us know at the contact address below if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
KDP Workspace Pro subscription
KDP Workspace Pro is a paid subscription billed monthly at $4.99 USD per month, charged automatically to the payment method on file until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe; KDP Workspace does not store your full card details.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancelling stops future billing, but you'll keep access to Pro features through the end of the billing period you already paid for.
Refund policy: Charges already made are final and non-refundable. Cancelling stops future charges, but we don't provide refunds for the current or past billing periods.
Acceptable use
Don't use KDP Workspace for anything illegal, to infringe someone else's rights, or to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this.
Your content
Anything you enter into KDP Workspace, book details, manuscripts, images, and similar, remains yours. We don't claim ownership over it, and we only use it to provide the service back to you, such as syncing it across your devices.
No warranty
KDP Workspace is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep KDP-related reference information (category limits, pricing formulas, formatting specs) accurate and current, but Amazon KDP's own rules are the final authority, and we're not liable for decisions made based on information in this tool.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, KDP Workspace and its operator aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
