How to Export Your KDP Ads Report
Five steps to get your Amazon Ads campaign data out as a real, uploadable file, including the wider date range that isn't the default.
-
Open Amazon Ads Campaign Manager
Log into advertising.amazon.com and go to Campaign Manager, then Reports.
-
Find the date range selector
The quick-download button defaults to just the last 30 days. Next to the Export button is a separate date range selector for a longer, custom range.
Easy to miss, it's a separate control -
Pick the widest range available
Each new upload to KDP Workspace replaces the previous one rather than adding to it, so grab as wide a range as you can for the fullest picture.
-
Export the .csv file
Download the report as a .csv file. This is the format KDP Workspace reads directly.
-
Upload it to KDP Workspace
Go to the Ads tab and upload the file to see your campaigns, spend, and audit results, all calculated automatically.
Why the date range matters
30 days is fine for a quick check, but it's genuinely too narrow to catch real patterns, a campaign that's been quietly burning spend for months won't look nearly as bad in a 30-day snapshot as it does over the real, full picture.
KDP Workspace's Ads tab turns this file into a real audit, flagging campaigns spending real money with zero sales, automatically.
