How to Export Your KDP Sales Report

Five steps to get your full sales history out of KDP as a real, uploadable file, including the wider date range most people never find because it isn't on the main Reports page.

   Open KDP Reports

   Log into KDP and go to the Reports page from the main navigation.

   Go to Dashboard → Orders instead

   The main Reports view only offers Day, Week, or Month. For real history further back, use Dashboard → Orders instead.

   Pick the widest date range available

   Each new upload to KDP Workspace replaces the previous one rather than adding to it, so grab as wide a range as KDP allows for the fullest picture.

   Download the .xlsx file

   Export as an Excel (.xlsx) file. This is the format KDP Workspace reads directly.

   Upload it to KDP Workspace

   Go to the Sales tab and upload the file to see your royalty totals, trends, and tax rollup, all calculated automatically.

Why the wider date range matters

The default Reports view caps you at Day, Week, or Month, genuinely not enough for a real trend view or a full-year tax summary. The Orders report under Dashboard supports a real custom range, this is the one worth using if you want more than a snapshot.
